Fans Show Up, Gremlins Don't
On a night with the stands packed with avid Gremlin fans, Greminger's Gremlins fell to their friendly rivals, the Trans World Tilers, 15-11. The Gremlins got on the board first with one run in the first, but the TWT's showed their stuff early piling up runs -- no thanks to the pitcher, who couldn't find his rhythm early on. The Gremlins struggled at the plate after that and fell behind at one point 10 -1. Then they started to put it together. The pitcher started to find the plate afte a rabid fan yelled, "Quit wasting my time, Baxter!" We won an inning shutting down the TWT's offense, and then the Gremlin hits started to fall. If we had one more inning, the feeling is we could have won the game, but give credit to TWT's, they played a great game, and all in all, if was just plain fun as usually.
