Even the Mascot Can't Help the Gremlins
The Gremlins dropped Sunday's pickup game with a score I can't mention.. . by that I mean I don't know and don't want to know. The Gremlins struggled both on offense and defense while the other team (from now on know as the "No Names") played near flawless softball. The No Names moved all their seasoned players to the infield counting on the Gremlins to keep it on the ground which they did for the first few innings holding the Gremlins nearly scoreless. The No Names, though, took advantage of the blustery winds and put the ball high in the air and let it carry. The Gremlins began to put some runs together and were looking to catch up but the No Names came right back with solid hits in every direction. All in all though the day was fun.
